Camp Begins on Monday June 25, 2018

If you have already registered or plan on registering for Mt. Palomar Summer Bible Camp please read the following important information.
Each camper MUST be fully registered and paid in FULL prior to arriving on the mountain. We must have a completed registration packet (either on-line or mailed in). This includes the Medical Release Form & the PCCC Liability Release Form. If you are missing anything you have either received an email, phone call, or text from me.
Remember that the Early Bird Discount was based on the promise that the registration and payment would be complete by May 6, 2018. If you did not meet this deadline than the $40.00 early bird discount will not apply. Go to www.mtpalomarbiblecamp.org if you need these forms.
These forms can be submitted to the Canyon Villas/San Diego Christian Foundation office (Attn: Bible Camp) during business hours at 4282 Balboa Ave, San Diego, CA 92117, scanned and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, or submitted by fax to 858-490-3527. Because of the time factor… hand deliver, email or fax after June 22nd…Please DO NOT use snail mail for these forms.
The campers may begin to arrive on Monday, June 25th AFTER 2:00 p.m. We will have activities planned from 2:00 to 5:30 while campers arrive, complete the check-in process, and move into their cabins.
Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. on Monday in the Dining Hall so if you arrive later than 6:00 p.m. – PLEASE eat dinner.
On Saturday, June 30th all the campers must be picked up between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
DO NOT USE YOUR GPS! Go to www.pccc.org for driving instructions or there is a link on the camp website (www.mtpalomarbiblecamp.org). We don’t want you to get lost on the mountain and GPS, MapQuest, and other navigation systems just don’t work on the mountain.
There is important information for parents and campers on the camp website… What to bring to camp, The Dress Code (Modesty is the goal and “loaner clothes” are available if needed), Living by the Rules, and a Letter from the Nurses (Bring all medications to camp in their original containers). All medications, Inhalers, and Epi-Pens must be current – Please check and make sure these have not expired.
Activities available at Camp:
Campers & Counselors have the opportunity to participate in ALL the Free-Time activities offered by Palomar Christian Conference Center for only $7.00 per person. This is a great deal! Remember a few years ago the Zip-line alone was $12.00. During Monday’s registration please be prepared to pay $7.00 which will cover the following options:
The Zip Line (all ages)… Nurse Toni’s Favorite!
Unlimited rides all week during free-time.
Horseback riding: Must sign-up during Monday’s registration
Arena Rides (Wrangler led-up – 3 to 9 years old).
Available Wednesday: 1:30 – 2:30.
Trail Rides (9 years and older)
Available Wednesday: 2:30 – 3:30, & 3:30 – 4:30 & Thursday: 1:30 -2:30, 2:30-3:30, and 3:30 – 4:30.
Please sign-up during Monday’s registration (subject to change).
Paintball game: (11 years and older): Must sign-up during Monday’s registration
Available Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday (includes referee, mask, markers, & paint): 2:00 – 3:30.
BB guns (any age), 22 gauge (11 years and older), & Shotguns (12 years and older).
An Activities Table will be set-up during registration on Monday for parents and campers. Paintball games and Horseback riding will be available on specific days and offered on a first-come-first-serve base. The Zip-Line will be open every day during free-time! Payment is due on Monday. Cash and checks payable to PCCC will be accepted.
The directors, nurses, and counselors are working hard to make Summer Bible Camp a memorable and life-changing week. We look forward to spending a week with each camper and have been praying for them.
